Group Priorities
The Yellowstone Basin Group serves Eastern
Montana including Billings. We are
currently working on these priorities:
- issues related to local wildlands protection and
preservation
- developing a school outreach program with a consumption
issues curriculum
- facilitating outings for economically disadvantaged youth
in our area
YBG is also involved in several collaborative activities
including work on the Yellowstone River, adult outings (with
Montana Wilderness Society) and participating in the Billings
area Conservation Roundtable.
Our group usually is involved in Earth Day events each year,
tries to have an annual holiday party, and typically has two to
four other outreach events per year. These can include programs,
films, literature drops, rallies, tabling, and much more.
